I can't say I have. [ doesn't sound too threatening, though. hmm. ] Are you worried over the odds of his getting himself killed?

I want to be sure he can defend himself without magic. A lot of mages don't often get the opportunity to learn, and it puts them at a disadvantage against enemies that can stifle their connection to the Fade.

[ delicately treading around the accusation of templars. ]

You'd be doing me a kindness, giving me a little less to worry about.

[ Just a touch of flirt, it's good for the spirit. But more pertinently: ]

It will be good for you to have someone more at your level to practice against. [ A pause. ] Or -- how young, exactly? Not too short, I hope?

Don't worry, he's not so young as you're worried about. And he's taller than I am, by a few inches. You'll like him, I promise.
